I have a First Degree (Hons) in Modern Languages, specializing in English and Spanish. With over 25 years of experience, I have taught Spanish to students of all ages and levels. I focus on creating customized lessons that incorporate the language into everyday conversational contexts. To support my teaching, I use a range of materials such as texts, recordings, videos, and images. I have a strong understanding of the English school system's structure and National Curriculum requirements. Currently, I am preparing several students for their GCSEs, A levels, and university exams. Depending on the subject matter, the learner's characteristics, and the teaching context (face-to-face, individual, group, online, etc.), my teaching method is flexible and adaptable. I adopt a student-centered approach, with ongoing assessments through formal and informal participation methods. I believe that learning a second language should be an enjoyable experience, and I strive to ensure that my students have a fun and exciting time while expanding their cultural horizons.
