I am a current Student at QMUL studying economics, with a particular interest in macroeconomics and international development. After completing A Levels I believed the best choice was to attend university in London. I am an extremely hardworking individual who seeks to achieve the best in every task. My strengths include strong time-management, leadership and management, and strong communication skills. These characteristics are what I feel will make me an extremely proficient tutor. In addition, having been through state education for the past 13 years and achieving the top grades in all categories I understand how the educational system works and techniques which provide the best outcomes for GCSE and A level students. I am also a part-time chef which has meant I have had engagement with parents and guardians which has boosted my ability to understand what is required not only from the student but how the guardian would like me progress with the tutoring progress.

I am a strict, to the point style teacher. The nature of my work in education has prepared me for a position in tutoring. My interest in business and economics stimulated me to design the economics curriculum for the year in my school within my first term of teaching. From doing this I have developed the skills in how to teach most effectively to students with different types of learning styles. I have been educated at two Russel Group universities which has allowed me to get top notch education in both receiving and learning how to deliver education. As someone with dyslexia I understand how hard it can be for students to excel in school with limited support. I aim to fill the gap where the education system has failed students. Many teachers are not able to do this but, I have built up the resources to support students who need this extra support to get them to the top grades. Alongside with these resources that I have prepared I also have a planned strategy when teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes.
