I've taught all levels from Primary to University level, prepared students for GCSE and A level exams and to a wide range of nationalities and students from different cultural backgrounds.
In my teaching style, I use the communicative approach and include visual aids, games, authentic materials, and language functions to meet the objectives of the students. So, I can teach you with proficiency and ease both languages in French and Arabic. In my teaching I include speaking, listening, reading and writing. I have been a tutor for a few years teaching both face to face and online. To me, the most important thing as a tutor is to really listen to your student and let them explain what they may find challenging about a subject. Each student is different and therefore their lessons should also be unique. My students appreciate my friendly approach to learning and it is important that the students are in the driving seat of their lessons. I regularly ask my students what they would like to focus on and I base my lessons around where they can make the most progress.
I think it is important to have a tutor that is actively learning more about their subject of choice and that is why I am unique as a tutor. I am currently studying English literature with French and Spanish at The Universoty of Sheffield and this degree encompasses my strenghts and also what I enjoy. I have recently spent much of my time helping pupils through GCSE in French and Latin and A Level in French. I have successfully tutored pupils for admission to Eton College and Winchester College and helped non-English speakers to become bi-lingual.
