Having gradauted from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a frist class honours in 2023, I am fortunate to freelance across Scotland as drummer/percussionist. I am fortunate to have played with orchestras, chamber ensembles, musical theatre productions and weddings/functions along with private teaching. Recent work includes shows with Imagine Theatre, The Scottish Concert Orchestra and Limelight Productions.
I am an instrumental woodwind teacher and a classroom teacher in a school teaching up to and including GCSE - current board we use is Eduqas. I teach flute, clarinet, sax and recorders all to high ABRSM levels - no student has ever failed under my tuition. I teach beginners up to diploma level.
Many of my students have enjoyed successes at various music festival competitions, have played for royalty and have even had the pleasure of performing at the Royal Albert Hall.
I am very flexible and try to tailor lessons to suit the student and their individual needs, I do expect quite a bit of student input during lessons as this reinforces our learning.

I studied at The Birmingham School of Music and the Guildhall, London where I graduated in vocal studies and Music Therapy respectively. I am a qualified teacher and have worked in various schools across the East Midlands both as a teacher and a Music Therapist. I work as an arranger for a number of acapella groups both in the folk and gospel industry. I perform regularly both in churches and small venues as a multi-instrumentalist, conductor and singer.

I have taught music up to 'A' level and as well as all over the UK I have worked in Romania and West Africa. I regularly teach the compositional element of ABRSM exams to grade 8, where I have a 100% pass rate and have over 25 years experience in special and state schools.
