I am a maths teacher in a popular school in the UK with an MSc in Engineering, and experience in teaching secondary and primary students over physical and online settings.
I believe in student-centered maths learning with independence. I already have experience in assessing students' onboarding and selecting the support plans at ''Global Edtech''. Moreover, I have also worked on SENs (dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism) students that will support this role. I always encourage my students to have a conceptual understanding over the procedural understanding, this would definitely encourage students for their effort, and hence each student will get their own motivation, thus having room for development as well. Having learned different pedagogies of maths learning, I believe I would be a good fit with the strong maths understanding and the experience.

I am 45 years old with 21 years experience of Science and Maths teaching aged 8-16 and an experienced tutor of Maths and English am able to offer individual private tuition in Maths, English (including reading), Science and 11+ entrance exams.
I am able tutor Maths and English to KS3 level and Science (combined or separate Sciences) to GCSE.
During the last 15 years, I have provided tuition to many students across a wide range of ages and abilities with excellent results both in terms of increased attainment, enthusiasm and enjoyment of their learning. As a result I have received several glowing testimonials from parents. I always have high expectations of students in my care, regardless of their ability or age.
I am also an experienced KS2, KS3 and GCSE Science examiner, currently working and assessing both Year 10 and Year 11 GCSE examinations. I enjoy my teaching and I always try to ensure learning takes place in a relaxed and focussed situation. I am able to work in the student’s home subject to mutual availability, I have also tutored very succesfully online for over 6years both nationally in the UK and internationally with a variety of students. I love teaching and seeing where children come from and get too. They are like sponges and soak everything up. I am appreciative of different learning styles and adapt to them as required. I have a broad planning approach and lots of methods to make learning fun but also achievable. I have plenty of resources and methods that I use and feel comfortable adapting them to all levels of teaching. I have been tutoring since October 2023 for London schools entrance exams in 4+ and 7+.
I have been a Year 6 practitioner since 2011 and Year 6 teacher and lead for 2 years. I have a proven track record supporting children through the End of Key Stage tests. Hello and welcome to Connect Maths Tutor. I am Viviane D. and a qualified Secondary Maths teacher of 14 years. I have considerable experience in supporting students across KS3 and preparing students to sit KS4 Maths GCSE 9-1 specification Higher/foundation.
Having acquired substantial experience of working with a significant range of students and abilities, I understand fully the barriers to learning in Maths. I can therefore advise on areas where common misconceptions occur, showing alternative methods to answer popular topics and advise on exam techniques.
I now tutor one to one with students in order that I can make a real difference to their confidence and performance in Maths. At times this can be difficult to achieve in a classroom environment. My tutoring style is both structured, relaxed and supportive. I will establish early on a student's individual proficiency so that they are educated at an adapted and bespoke level.
