I am a maths teacher in a popular school in the UK with an MSc in Engineering, and experience in teaching secondary and primary students over physical and online settings.
I believe in student-centered maths learning with independence. I already have experience in assessing students' onboarding and selecting the support plans at ''Global Edtech''. Moreover, I have also worked on SENs (dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism) students that will support this role. I always encourage my students to have a conceptual understanding over the procedural understanding, this would definitely encourage students for their effort, and hence each student will get their own motivation, thus having room for development as well. My priority is tailoring each of my lessons according to individual students, which is a key aspect of one-to-one tutoring. I also use questions and homework to check understanding continually. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student`s understanding and technique.
I always take a student-centered approach to teaching by asking students to bring their notes and talk me through the topics they feel are most difficult. My aim as your tutor would be to identify your strengths and weaknesses and build upon these appropriately. I would incorporate past paper questions very early in the curriculum to assess how well a child can apply their knowledge to answering exam questions. This will ensure that by the time the exams are sat the student will be fully prepared.
I prepare materials which allow them to reinforce their understanding to learn a difficult subject. I gradually strengthen their knowledge and bring them to a higher level.

Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching for about 8 years. I teach kids aged 5-14, get the students prepared for 11+ exams and mock exams. I teach in a structured, fun and interactive way. Regular tests are given with a monthly review of progress.
Tutoring Approach
At the beginning, it is necessary to study the student and learn which academic area they need more help with. I believe in teaching the kids how they would like to learn and it is really important. Also, been tutoring for the last 5 years and i prepare children for their 7+ and 11+ exams. I prepare for these exams through an advanced level of teaching from the early years. I identify each child's strengths and weaknesses through regular assessments.
