I have been privately tutoring Mathematics to students from the ages 10-18 (Secondary School through to A-Levels) over the past four years whilst completing my Master's degree in Mathematics. I take great pride in my work as a tutor, and always make it a priority to make my students feel comfortable that they can ask me any questions at any time during a lesson. Having been on both sides of the small classroom teaching dynamic, I can sympathise with how some students may feel a sense of unease when starting a new class with a new teacher, which can ultimately impact their classroom learning. During my lessons, I like to stress the importance that this is not simply another classroom lesson where I talk and the student should remain quiet, and instead encourage my students to ask me any and all questions they have about the subject. The more they can tell me about their concerns with Mathematics, the more information I have to work with when adapting the lesson to their needs. My preferred teaching style is to look through previous work that a student has completed, and create complete breakdowns to topics/exam question solutions to give the student a step-by-step method that they can use beyond the lesson. After each lesson, I send an email with a document attached that contains all of the information discussed during the lesson, so that they can use the teachings at their own leisure in the future. If I specialise my lessons to each student, then what would be the point of me not sharing the resources afterwards? My working times are quite flexible, as I work from home, so most days from 10:00 - 18:00 work well for me. This is not a strict time window, however, so please feel free to contact me with alternative times outside of these hours, and we can see if we can make it work. I went school and my best subjects at high school was maths and I was extremely good at GCSE science. I now do a levels in a level biology, chemistry and psychology. I am a really good tutoring and I can get your student a good grade.
I completed my GCSEs in 2018 achieving A*s in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology & History. I also achieved 3 As in my A-levels for Mathematics, Chemistry & Biology in 2020. Since then I have completed a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.

My aim is to offer an affordable tutoring service to families who face these challenges. I wish to combine my professional experience and qualifications with my personal insights, in the hope of helping children to overcome hurdles. I have set up this business in memory of my late father from whom I learnt so much about the value of education. As a keen mountaineer he often compared life’s challenges to those of climbing a mountain, and this led me to the name of ‘ Footpaths for Learning. ’ I hope that if you engage with Footpaths for Learning your child or young person will feel helped to find a footpath through any difficulties and to reach the summit of their own personal mountain.
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I qualified as a teacher in 2013 and have a degree in Mathematics within secondary education (first class honours) and qualified teacher status. I have taught in secondary schools and colleges around the north west. As well as teaching I am an examiner for one of the main boards and know the ins and outs of the exam process. I also love technology and am able to tutor online.
