I’m Shreya G., a second year medical student in the UK. I enjoy learning just as much as teaching, and its a great learning opportunity for us both. Considering my medical background, I find teaching science and maths favourable. I also have a good understanding of the recent exam patterns and curriculum, as I have recently done it too.
I have taught multiple age groups in the past, and have had positive feedback that shaped me into the tutor today.
I believe that each student needs a different style of teaching, and thus base mine accordingly.
My previous students would describe me as a fun, energetic and engaging tutor, who relies on quizzes and mock tests to keep you engaged. Expect to be on your toes the entire time, and not just sit and listen. I am a university graduate and I have also completed my training to become fully a qualified Tutor/ Assessor (TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) former PTLLS. I have completed my diploma level 3 social work studies. I am currently a Medical student at Keele and a graduate from the University of Salford, achieving a 1st in my degree in Human Biology and Infectious Disease. I was responsible for a programme known as GEMMS which is for supporting students in their medicine/dentistry applications, assisting them in interview technique and for the entrance exams.

If they have a doubt in a concept, I will ask them to explain the same concept to me in their own words and correct them wherever necessary. I will provide some good methods to study or approach that topic. I will conclude the lesson by asking them if there is anything they would like to discuss in our next session so that I could prepare some questions in advance. I will also regularly be assessing your improvement through the use of practice papers to get an idea of where the student is at and how they can further improve. I am a private Maths tutor based in Sandbach, Cheshire and teach students in the local area, as well as online. I have dedicated over 8 years teaching students in Maths and Accounts aged from 8 years old to 60 years old. I am up-to-date with the ongoing changes in curriculum and have covered KS2 up to and including GCSE levels.
