I am a highly experienced ex Head of Science and current Lead Practitioner, with a specialism in Biology. I am passionate and enthusiastic with a dedication to achieving the best for my students. I have been teaching in local secondary schools for 15 years, which I thoroughly enjoy. Teaching is my passion and something that I believe I am highly skilled and talented at.
My approach to teaching is tailored to suit the needs and abilities of all my students. I am able to take complex concepts and turn them into everyday scenarios that make learning fun and accessible. I build positive relationships with all of the students that I teach and I am professional and approachable as a person.
I focus on exam technique, a crucial area that is often overlooked in the classroom. I build confidence in my students ensuring they are confident, knowledge secure and well-prepared to answer even the most complex questions. I bring learning to life and my enthusiasm is infectious!

I have a 2:1 degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool, and I am currently a trainee Biology teacher for secondary schools. I'm dedicated to ensuring every lesson is tailored to the individual and their needs, so that everybody gets the most out of each lesson. Lessons will be around one hour. I have a degree in Biological Sciences, and A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and English Literature. All qualifications I have received are at A*-B. I am a qualified tutor with the company MyTutor, able to teach Biology at GCSE and A-level, and Chemistry at GCSE.
I am a very experienced ex Head of Physics, still teaching to A-level and currently examining with AQA. I have experience in all levels of secondary Physics, including Oxbridge entrance.
I also offer Mathematics to GCSE level.
Sundays prefered, but other times possible by arrangement.

I have Masters in Engineering and Degree in Chemistry. Furthermore, I have been a teacher for over 11 years. I have a variety of teaching methods to communicate with all students however diverse. When teaching each topic I incorporate a past exam paper question during each session, as this provides evidence of the required standard. I possess a current and in depth knowledge of all 3 exam boards: Edexcel, AQA and OCR.
