I am a Science teacher based in Liverpool and have been teaching for 3 years. I teach GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and have experience with both AQA Trilogy and Synergy specifications. I offer tutoring for GCSE Science and AS/A-Level Biology via online sessions. Sessions are tailored to the individual student's needs to meet their goals and build confidence in tackling the content.
Sessions are taught via Skype/Google Meet using a shared screen Powerpoint which is also provided to students at the end of each session. The focus of each session is knowledge recap, improving exam technique using a range of exam-style questions as well as addressing concerns about learning time that has been lost during the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring students are prepared once they return to the classroom.

I gained qualified teacher status in August 2021 after spending a year in Carlisle completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Since September 2021, I have been working as a supply teacher in Manchester. This has allowed me to gain experience working in all year groups in Primary Education ranging from Early Years to Year 6. My name is Rachael and I am a qualified primary teacher with 15 years’ experience. I have a passion for encouraging a love of learning.
