For nearly 10 years, I have been working both as a private tutor and a schoolteacher, teaching predominantly Spanish and English to students of all ages and abilities in person and online. Following a lifelong love of languages, I studied Spanish and English Literature at GCSE, achieving A* and A respectively, and at A-level, achieving B and A* respectively. In 2015, I advanced my studies at the University of Reading, where, in 2019, I obtained my BA in Spanish and English Literature. In my year abroad, I studied in Mexico (University of the Americas Puebla) and Cuba (University of Havana). Since graduating, I’ve taught thousands of hours of Spanish and English online to hundreds of students, reaching the top of the Spanish tutor ranks on another platform and receiving dozens of positive, predominantly five-star reviews from satisfied clients across the continent. Knowing from personal experience how challenging learning a foreign language or mastering the art of essay writing can be, I aim to facilitate the process for my students by personalising my lessons to their individual needs. Try our French or Spanish Clubs for Pre-school and Primary School children running online and lead by our dedicated team of experienced native speakers, based in the UK, who have been successfully delivering their 30-minute clubs online since the first lockdown in March 2020.
Developed from our well-established in-school clubs and supported by « le club français », our clubs offer children the opportunity to hear and speak French or Spanish, sing songs, make drawings and enjoy directed online games together in French or Spanish.
Members receive a songbook with soundtracks and access to our « Babelzone » website, for home-learning which is full of many of the engaging on-line videos, stories and games in French and Spanish which we use in our courses. See images of Babelzone's contents in the photo gallery below.

Madame Prevost (Stephanie): French national and club leader since 2015 - running French clubs online after school, most days. In normal times she runs French clubs in all three Primary Schools in Thame in Oxfordshire.
Mademoiselle Bloch (Emilie): multilingual Swiss student of dance and club leader since 2019, running French clubs and offering Spanish clubs online on Sunday mornings. In normal times she also runs French and Spanish clubs in the Busy Bees children's nursery in High Wycombe
Heather: bilingual French speaker who has recently joined our team and is looking forward to running French clubs in schools in the High Wycombe area in Buckinghamshire.
Staff Training: In addition to our fortnightly online team meetings, we attend regular online training courses run by « le club français » ( www.*** ) to keep us up to date. This has been particularly helpful with our recent move into delivering online clubs.
Precise Charges: £ www.*** per weekly 30-minute club and £ www.*** for the course welcome pack. Payment is per term, with the option to pay by instalments, and a 10% sibling discount. However, should your child not wish to continue after the first session there would be no charge.

I was teaching History in a Mexican School and also in the State of Mexico University.
In the year 2008 I completed a Bachelor of Arts Open Degree with Honours with the Open University where I studied two courses of English Literature. I obtained an Upper Second Class grade. I was awarded credits towards this degree for my previous studies in History at the University of Barcelona, Spain. However, I am as yet unqualified to teach in this country.
During 2009 and 2010 I did three hours a week of voluntary work in a local school (Hertswood, Borehamwood) in order to acquire first hand experience of school-classroom teaching. I applied for the GTP in that school but after waiting for more than a year my application was eventually rejected as the number of places for GTP had been drastically reduced. After that I have continued working as a private tutor.
I am a native Spanish with thirteen years of experience as a private Spanish tutor. I am at present teaching a number of private classes for individuals and groups. I also teach groups of children of ages between five and eleven years old in after-school clubs. During the last five years I have been running my own Spanish and Chess afterschool Clubs with up to thirteen members during some periods. I have also been running Spanish conversation sessions in a local school, Immanuel College, for GCSE and A level students from three to four hours a week during the last eleven years.
I put special emphasis on spoken language. I use role play to practise the language, improve pronunciation, and show the usefulness of a foreign language in real life. I also use Spanish traditional songs for children.
I am currently a first year student studying Chemistry at Durham university. I am happy to tutor Spanish at GCSE level and Maths and Chemistry at GCSE and A level, after receiving 3A* in these subjects at A level.

I am an enthusiastic secondary school Spanish and French teacher with high aspirations for my students, supporting them to challenge themselves and achieve. I am currently studying for my Masters in Education, for which I am researching the use of mobile phones and technology to teach grammar in MFL.
In my first year as an A Level teacher I received 100% A-A* grades in my class. Last year, 88% of my Higher Spanish GCSE students received a grade 6 or above.
My teaching involves creating and delivering engaging and exciting lessons which motivate students. I enjoy incorporating technology into my classes and find the use of culture, such as music, is key to teaching languages. Recent examples of exciting lessons I have taught include a writing task on students’ phones using emojis and challenging Sixth Form students to act as a ‘government’ and come up with their own racism laws and policies, considering logistics and money, totally in target language, for one lesson.

As someone with experience in tutoring and a skill for illustrating and presenting complex ideas in accessible and easy formats, I can ensure that anybody can succeed at the subjects they have chosen to study, regardless of their original level. I personally had to self study a lot of material for IGCSEs and AS Levels, but still managed to not only acquire a full spread of top grades in both, but attain marks nearing 100% in multiple subjects. I believe the key to this is understanding a subject to its core, rather than just learning things at a surface level. Not only does this lead to better exam perfomance, but it also means that what is learnt will be retained for longer. The ability to deep dive into subjects is a highly valuable skill that I will ensure all my students perfect.

I am a Spanish and English Graduate from the Russell Group University of Leeds with over 3 years tutoring experience. This began with a mixture of guided reading coaching, teacher shadowing and teaching EFL tutoring in Madrid for two consecutive summers. Here I was entrusted with independently researching and collating my own lesson plans to markedly raise the linguistic level of nine-year-old Alejandro. Within a week, Alejandro could form the second and third conditional clauses in English, a high-level requirement for a student of his age. Personally, this taught me that flexibility is paramount in engaging students and improving their confidence; there is no one-size-fits-all method to tutoring.
I currently provide professional online GCSE tuition in English Literature and Spanish for “Tutortoo”. Although I am accustomed to teaching individual pupils, I am also regularly entrusted to teach large groups of 30+ with the company “Elite Medics”. I am well-versed in Spanish AQA and Edexcel exam structures and mark schemes and am confident in my online communication and engagement. Within Spanish, my study placement in ‘La Universidad de Oviedo’ allowed me to grasp the colloquialisms and conversational that textbooks occasionally fail to master.
