Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.
I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 3 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 3 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 3 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. For nearly 10 years, I have been working both as a private tutor and a schoolteacher, teaching predominantly Spanish and English to students of all ages and abilities in person and online. Following a lifelong love of languages, I studied Spanish and English Literature at GCSE, achieving A* and A respectively, and at A-level, achieving B and A* respectively. Since leaving mainstream teaching five years ago I have worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. Hi! My name is Camron and I am a first year university student, studying Dentistry at Kings College London. I am looking to tutor students that require assistance with GSCE maths and sciences or A-level maths and chemistry. I was born & raised in Australia, studied maths & physics & computer science at uni & then have literally worked all over the world in high tech industries, where I have worked as a scientist, a software developer, a trainer and as a manager. I have probably used maths every day of my life!
I strongly believe that education is the key to saving the world & on an individual basis a good education will make your whole life so much better. 'Good' may be down to the teaching resources available in your neighbourhood - which is a lottery! (Hence you might need me :) )

Pricing
Your first lesson will be free of charge, assuming it is online or in Windsor. Thereafter £32/hour (discount for KS3 or lower). If I have to drive within 5 miles of Windsor, then it's £35/hour. Beyond that, while I'd like to help you, honestly it isn't worth it for me or you. In that case am sure you will find another good tutor closer.
