I also worked for some time as the Chair of Examiners for GCE Chemistry with CCEA.
I have taught for several years on this platform, working with all the specifications and teaching students from many different countries, including China, Kuwait, Qatar, Norway and the UK.
After years of effort, I have built up an enormous bank of teaching and assessment resources that I can share at the click of a mouse - enabling me to teach my subject very effectively online. I also have a dedicated website at www.*** to help my pupils progress between lessons. Access to all these resources will be free to my students while they remain with me.
Some of the examining boards ( www.*** EDEXCEL) have highlighted videos on my online video playlists as recommended support. I've taught two winners of the prestigious International Chemistry Olympiad and I've taught numerous students who achieved the highest mark in the year in GCE Chemistry - both with CCEA and AQA.
Perhaps I can support you or your child. I have taught more than 1700 hours on Tutorful - a platform that has recently unfairly increased its charges (to students) to 35%. You can check out my feedback there. I have top marks on all their stats - and in particular - 5/5 for reviews with 19 reviews.

I have taught for over 25 years and have tutored privately for over 5 years in the UK and abroad. I have taught in London (9 years), Northern Ireland (6 years), the Middle East (8 years) and Kazakhstan (3 years).
I have had excellent results with students wishing to attain A* (9) grade to those who need to get a C (4).
I will use my desktop and a writing tablet. It is essential that the students can see and hear the work during my online lessons.
I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring the UK examination boards, Edexcel, AQA, CCEA and International Cambridge. I always do and will keep up to date with the changes to the syllabi. I have taught KS3, KS4and KS5. I probably get more satisfaction getting a weaker pupil to achieve a C grade than a talented pupil achieving an A*.
I have registered with several online tutoring companies but I would like to use my extensive experience to tutor weaker students. I have had always had a good rapport with my pupils and my main objective is to make ‘Maths Fun’. I believe I have been able to help the pupils I tutor to attain the best level they can according to their abilities.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to further discuss my teaching techniques and suitablity to tutor you.
I have put my QTS number above and will sent a copy of my PGCE and a basic Access NI check below. Please note in Northern Ireland an enhanced check can only be asked by an employer which you are free to do so if I succeed.
Please note I am only interested in online tutoring. I look forward to your reply.
