My name is Ahmed and I enjoy teaching. This is why I've chosen this profession which allows me to deal with people from different backgrounds, understand their needs and take a challenge of helping them. The most important thing for me is seeing my student's satisfaction and I feel honoured when my students leave the session with positive learning.
I'm patient (as this is one of the important tools in order to be a successful teacher), friendly, and make sure to keep a rapport among my students. I feel it is important as a teacher to make your student believe that you are his/her mentor as a tutor/teacher and you are there to help them to get the best out of their personality.
Currently, I am working as a head of department in one of the Grammar Schools.
I have been teaching in a secondary school in Altrincham for 10 years and prior to this have taught in Surrey and North London. I also have experience of examining for the major examination boards at both GCSE and A Level.
I am a Qualified Teacher, working at a Grammar school in Aylesbury and I have recently been appointed as an examiner for Edexcel A-Level Mathematics.I am very passionate about my subject and I have a different approach to teaching including more practical ways which engage pupils and enhance their understanding as the new curriculum requires pupils to have a deeper understanding to be able to solve problems.
I believe that every pupil can learn mathematics and I work hard to achieve that, especially with pupils who want to learn and succeed.
Although I work in Grammar schools, I have 6 years of private tuition experience with pupils who need more support and with high-achievers.

A former Teaching Fellow at King's College London, I have taught MA courses on the Arab-Israeli conflict, US and British Foreign Policy, War and Peace in the Middle East, and Inter-Faith Relations. A fluent Hebrew speaker, I was Peer Tutor in Hebrew at University College London, where I was awarded the departmental prize for excellence in the Hebrew language. I have tutored privately abroad, as well as in Britain, and have an immensely successful record with my tutees. In addition to online tuition throughout the academic year, I also offer intensive tuition during school and university holidays, which both tutees and parents find particularly useful for preparation, consolidation of knowledge and, if need be, to get a tutee back on track. I am a British PhD with degrees from the universities of London, Jerusalem, and Cambridge. Author of 'Israel and the Cold War: Diplomacy, Strategy, and the Policy of the Periphery at the United Nations' (I. B. Tauris/Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), I have written for several academic journals and newspapers and reviewed for the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. I was the first recipient of the Mikardo scholarship awarded by the British Foreign Office, and, whilst at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I was awarded a Golda Meir Fellowship. Whilst at Cambridge, I won a Donner prize in Atlantic Studies. In addition to the subjects listed below, I tutor in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies, and I'm happy to consider all enquiries within my general areas of interest and experience. I am also available for dissertation consultation, proofreading, and help in exam and essay writing.

I am 45 years old with 21 years experience of Science and Maths teaching aged 8-16 and an experienced tutor of Maths and English am able to offer individual private tuition in Maths, English (including reading), Science and 11+ entrance exams.

I'm Oli, a recent first-class graduate from the Liverpool Screen School - I'd love to be able to share my passion for the medium of cinema with all of those who are currently discovering it themselves! I have over a decade of experience in the subject, whether it be the academic aspects of Film Studies, or the creative, subjective aspect of practical filmmaking.
In terms of my academic experience, I've had academic essays about Film published through international publications, as well as having my personal essays supported passionately by my academic peers at university.
