I have been working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school for 3 years, supporting students from years 7-11 with a range of abilities and special educational needs. As I currently work in a secondary school, I have first hand experience on the curriculum and strategies used to make learning more enjoyable. I have a degree in Psychology, graduating from UWE with a high 2:1. I can help students structure essays and grasp key concepts which outline psychology. I am fluent in French as I grew up in Belgium. I took my French GCSE in year 9 and continued to study it until A levels. I am in the process of becoming a secondary school maths teacher. It is a subject I really enjoy teaching and where most of my experience lies throughout my time as a TA. I have supported from set 1-6 and given 1-1 interventions for students needing extra attention. |
