Playing drums since 1989 in various bands and ensembles with a vast ammount of live and studio recording experience. Particular experience in Rock, Pop, Funk, Heavy Metal, Tech Metal, Grunge and many other genres within the Rock idiom. I specialise in teaching beginners to intermediate with particular focus on rudiments, beats, fills with creative and dynamic applications around the drum set. Additionally double kick pedal and double bass drum tutoring is offered to a high standard with focus on technique, stamina, balance/posture with various pattern combinations and configurations, this area can be suitable to a much wider range of experienced student perhaps new to the dynamic. Taking a formal approach from study aids including Drum Concepts And Techniques/Percussive Art Society charts/sight reading literature as a framework but also identifying individual students strengths with tailored development strategies. All ages taught either at home or professional standard studio Salford/Manchester, a sound proof environment with excellent educational facilities. Professional quality equipment, 7 piece British Drum Company legend series with variety of pro level cymbals and DW hardware configured to suit.
