I offer online A-level chemistry and GCSE science tutoring. I have tutored all the major exam boards and have always enjoyed an excellent degree of success. My approach to tutoring is very flexible and I can easily mould my approach to the needs of the student. My experience has shown that most students need help with interpretation of exam questions and a translation of knowledge into marks. To this end, I have a large database of questions to prompt discussion of the subject matter and requirements of the exam markers. I studied chemistry back in the 90's and stayed on at university to do a PhD in medicinal chemistry and some post doctoral research into polymers. My industrial experience includes AVECIA in huddersfield and Astra Zeneca in Macclesfield. I entered teaching in 2004 and I have never looked back. I quickly took up oportunities of tutoring and have done this alongside my teaching ever since.
