Over the past six years as a primary teacher, my journey has been both rewarding and transformative, with a strong focus on fostering child development, particularly in the areas of phonics and mathematics. I began my teaching career in Kensington and Chelsea, London, where I quickly established myself as a dedicated educator with a passion for nurturing young minds through positive encouragement. My commitment to child progression was evident in the consistent advancements my students made, particularly in phonics, where I implemented innovative strategies that led to significant improvements in literacy rates. My expertise in maths also shone through, as I developed engaging lesson plans that not only met curriculum standards but also sparked a genuine love for numbers among my pupils. My dedication to student success and my ability to inspire growth was recognized early on, leading to my transition from class teacher to Early Years Lead. In this leadership role, I was responsible for overseeing the educational progress of the youngest students in the school, ensuring they had a strong foundation as they began their academic journey. My teaching career then took me to Dubai, where I had the privilege of working at a world-renowned school known for its high standards of education. Here, I continued to apply my philosophy of nurturing each child through positive reinforcement, adapting my methods to meet the diverse needs of an international student body. Throughout my career, I have remained steadfast in my belief that every child can achieve their full potential when supported by an encouraging and inspiring environment. This ethos has been the driving force behind my exemplary record of child progression, and it continues to fuel my passion for teaching. |
