My level of qualification is a BSc. In Physics from The University of Nottingham.
I have been tutoring maths for 15 years as well as teaching piano to all ages for the last 30 years. Over this time I have gained experience of the issues facing children regarding their academic endeavours as well as their personal worries and struggles with confidence. I have always been open to their expression of themselves and offered friendly support and understanding. Over the years I have encountered a number of autistic students and been able to communicate successfully with them, helping them to gain trust and some belief in themselves as individuals in the world. On occasion I have been contacted again by their parents for further tutoring. My main focus with maths tutoring has been primary and GCSE level. |
