I am a professional maths physics and engineering tutor with over 4 years experience (500 hrs +) tutoring online and in person. I am a chartered civil engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers CEng FICE. I am a part time lecturer in civil engineering at a local regional college in Belfast. I have extensive experience tutoring children from primary school, age 9, through to 11+ Transfer Test as well as GCSE, AS and A Level. I also tutor adult learners in civil engineering and maths. My approach to tutoring is to work at the pace of the student and bring the topics back to first principles so the student gains a thorough understanding of the basics. Once that is achieved, he or she can tackle the more complex problems with confidence. |
