My name is Kira Horne and I have been a Primary School teacher for 4 years. I have worked as a Year 1 and 2 class teacher for three years, but also have one years experience doing supply in all years across a primary school, including early years. Through working in inner London schools I have experience working with a diverse range of pupils, with a lot of SEN/D and EAL experience. I have a passion for providing children educating in a fun and engaging way. I believe that building a supportive relationship with a child is necessary to overcome any barriers to learning, and I strive to ensure that every child feels confident in their ability. I have a lot of experience in preparing for Phonics screenings and SATs, and teaching using Maths Mastery. I am able to travel to various locations around London, but can also work remotely.
