My lessons are interactive and student centred, catering to different learning styles and students of all levels. Each lesson is crafted to encourage active participation and to emphasise the importance of problem solving skills, analysing information and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, I believe that it is imperative to encourage my students to ask questions and feel confident in their abilities. I am confidently able to tutor GCSE level Maths, Biology and Chemistry as well as SATs and 11+ (Verbal reasoning, Non- verbal reasoning, Maths and English). With my deep subject knowledge, years of education and commitment to staying current with educational advancements, I strive to approach and meet individual needs and empower each student to succeed academically. I have previously studied under the AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR exam boards and therefore have a strong understanding of what they expect from students, including specific skills, knowledge and exam techniques required for success. This allows me to tailor my lessons to help students meet and exceed those expectations. In the first lesson, we’ll start with a friendly assessment to get a clear picture of where you’re at. This isn’t a test to worry about it’s just a way for us to understand your strengths and pinpoint the areas that might need more focus. We’ll go over the results together, discuss any topics you’ve struggled with, and map out a personalized plan to guide your learning. Each session after that will build on what we discover, ensuring we cover everything you need to feel confident and improve steadily, with plenty of practice, support, and adjustments based on your progress. |
