Experienced maths tutor with a proven track record for over 20 years. I have taught and tutored GCSE Maths, A Level maths and other mathematics qualifications as a Head of Mathematics and as a tutor. I have a PhD in mathematics as well as a BSc and MSc. I have qualified teacher status (PGCE University of Warwick), I have AST (Advanced Skills teacher) status, and other nationally recognised teaching qualifications (NPQSL and NPQLTD). I enjoy helping students to understand mathematics that they have previously been confused by. All my previous students have made significant progress (a recent example is a student who progressed from a U at AS Level to a grade B in 4 months at 2 hours per week). I have recently been appointed as a coordinator for a national organisation that aims to improve mathematics education. I am enthusiastic, patient teacher who never considers any question to be a 'stupid question'. I have full enhanced DBS clearance. |
