I am a recent UCL graduate with excellent grades in both my undergraduate (1st Class Hons) and postgraduate (Distinction) qualifications in Biology. I have experience working within research that has led to 4 publications while supervising undergraduate / medical students. I have continued to maintain a strong passion for science and teaching after my graduation: I began tutoring part time on the weekends privately. I then worked as a teaching assistant for SEN students within a public school in north London and finally got my current position as a science tutor in an independent school in London.
I am currently responsible for teaching GCSE and A-Level biology across a number of groups, preparing assessment material (term tests & mock exams), and have recently been accepted as an examiner for the Pearson & Cambridge exam boards. In addition to my academic and teaching experience, I have been trained in safeguarding and work closely with personal tutors to ensure my students get the help and support they need. |
