I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 3 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 3 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 3 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. Hi! My name is Camron and I am a first year university student, studying Dentistry at Kings College London. I am looking to tutor students that require assistance with GSCE maths and sciences or A-level maths and chemistry. I am willing to offer first hand assistance in order to help you achieve the best grade possible and give you learning techniques that may benefit in later stages of your academic career. Being in your position until only very recently, I believe I have found some effective methods in order to learn hard parts of the syllabus and as a student myself, understand the common topics students may struggle with. This is why I have taken extra care to produce fullproof methods of learning these topics and will explain them to the best of my ability during the lesson.
I think every single student is unique, which is why I believe my bespoke advice coupled with the latest resources will allow students to maximise their progress in the subjects they require help with. I am currently a qualified and experienced Science teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Levels in a top Secondary School in Berkshire. I have graduated with a BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London, which included an in-depth study of topics such as: Organic Chemistry, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Chemistry and Biochemistry. These are topics which are all included in the new A-Level Chemistry syllabus.
Having done Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Mathematics at A-Level and holding a BSc degree, gives me sound knowledge of the subject and I am an ambassador of the Teach First Graduate Leadership Programme. Having taught Biology (GCSE), Chemistry (GCSE and A-Level) and Physics (GCSE) to students of varying different backgrounds and from challenging backgrounds (including SEN students to students of very high ability in top sets), I have the ability to cater to all students` needs in order to push them to the next level. Although I currently teach all three Sciences in a secondary school, my specialism lies in Chemistry due to my BSc degree. My course is a mixture of Geology including Geochemistry with also Oceanography, Geography and some environmental science aspects like Ecology. At GCSE level I was extremely interested in science particularly Chemistry and Biology. This lead to me getting a 9 in Biology and a 7 in Chemistry at GCSE level and choosing them both at A-level. As an older graduate entering the teaching profession, my recent international teaching and work experience resulted in a “eureka” moment for me.
