My lessons are interactive and student centred, catering to different learning styles and students of all levels. I have previously studied under the AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR exam boards and therefore have a strong understanding of what they expect from students, including specific skills, knowledge and exam techniques required for success. This allows me to tailor my lessons to help students meet and exceed those expectations.
In the first lesson, we’ll start with a friendly assessment to get a clear picture of where you’re at. This isn’t a test to worry about it’s just a way for us to understand your strengths and pinpoint the areas that might need more focus. We’ll go over the results together, discuss any topics you’ve struggled with, and map out a personalized plan to guide your learning. Each session after that will build on what we discover, ensuring we cover everything you need to feel confident and improve steadily, with plenty of practice, support, and adjustments based on your progress.
My Experience and Services:
Hi, I am currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at Keele University. In addition to this, I have also obtained a biomedical sciences degree with a first class honours from St George's University of London. I am based in London and have been tutoring online for over 4 years with a 100% pass rate. I offer A level biology tuition as well as GCSE triple and combined sciences or separate sciences as required. I offer a free 45 minute free trial session to get to know the student and show my teaching style, this allows me to build a relationship with each individual and tailor my sessions to this. I love teaching children and have always prioritised their education through each session by asking them what they would like to be taught. I also make it clear that I am able to answer any queries they have about the topic outside of sessions to provide them extra support that no other tutor does. I go over and beyond to understand my students and work alongside them by sending them topic checklists and plan each session according to their weakest topics. The structure of my sessions follows this: 30 minutes of taught content and 30 minutes of exam style questions. I ensure they apply their knowledge within the session as this prepares them for any and all mock/real exams throughout the year. Moreover, I provide them with study techniques, resources and any advice that they require. I positively encourage all my students to try their hardest and strive for excellence to achieve the top grades.

I love pilates and long walks. I also am a huge baker and love to try to cook new foods in my spare time. In addition I also love to read and volunteer at my local library.

I have been teaching for 5 years and quickly became head of department in a secondary school in Surrey. I have been teaching the AQA syllabus to years 10 and 11 and have also designed a whole curriculum for years 7 through to 11. Therefore I have a variety of resources and wide range of specialist topics including humanand physical geography. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as an ecologist, field biologist in Mauritius and worked for a number of conservation organisations such as the RSPB. As someone with experience in tutoring and a skill for illustrating and presenting complex ideas in accessible and easy formats, I can ensure that anybody can succeed at the subjects they have chosen to study, regardless of their original level. I personally had to self study a lot of material for IGCSEs and AS Levels, but still managed to not only acquire a full spread of top grades in both, but attain marks nearing 100% in multiple subjects. I believe the key to this is understanding a subject to its core, rather than just learning things at a surface level. Not only does this lead to better exam perfomance, but it also means that what is learnt will be retained for longer.
