I am currently Head of RE in an OFSTED rated Good secondary school and have been an RE and History teacher for five years. I am also a lead examiner and this is highly beneficial for assisting students apply their knowledge to the exam questions and access the questions. I enjoy working with students and seeing them achieve their goals.
I have been teaching for 5 years across the range of key stages in both History and RE. I am an experienced examiner for AQA and an examining team leader for Eduqas, and have previously examined for Edexcel. The majority of my students achieve above their expected grades due to this in depth understanding of the requirements of the exam boards.
I'm a French native and have been living in England for the past seven years. While I'm now fluent in both French and English, there was definitely a time when getting to grips with English was quite a challenge! I studied French literature at university before going on to complete a PhD in Theology at Durhan university. Teaching is a real passion of mine, and I’m truly dedicated to helping others succeed and enjoy their learning experience as much as possible.

As a secondary school teacher, I know and anticipate the needs of my pupils and endeavour to make sure that their needs are met effectively and efficiently.
